Bio: Jason joined SWORBHP in 2025 as the Interim Regional Education Consultant. He brings a unique blend of education and firsthand experience in both prehospital and in-hospital health care. Jason is passionate about supporting and advocating for paramedics as well as the patient care they provide.  He is a strong proponent of fostering a Just Culture environment, not only within EMS but also in the broader context of quality assurance and medical education. These commitments led him to serve a two-year term as President of his local paramedic union with OPSEU.

Jason has been a paramedic for 15 years, including 10 years as an Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) in London, Ontario. In addition to his work in prehospital care, he has been an Emergency Room Nurse at several regional hospitals for over a decade. He also spent four years serving as a Tactical Paramedic with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).

Jason holds an Advanced Care Paramedicine Diploma and an Advanced Emergency Medical Care Assistant (AEMCA) Diploma from Fanshawe College. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western University and is a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
